Colposcopy (LLETZ) Loop & Ball Diathermy Electrodes

LLETZ - Large Loop Excision of the Transformation Zone is used to remove tissue from the cervix using a wire electrosurgical loop where the current excises the tissue and cauterises the area. Endocervical cytology brush sampling

Endocervical cytology brushes available for cytology and bacteriological sampling. Available on NHS Framework. Scrinet is made of a cylindrical polyamide brush and long polypropylene handle, designed to perform endocervical smear for cervical cancer screening. Endobrush is a diamond shaped brush, designed to collect cells at the surface of the endometrium. The brush can retract entirely in its sheath, closed by a rounded cap, to protect against contamination during cervix passage.
