LLETZ – Large Loop Excision of the Transformation Zone is used to remove tissue from the cervix using a wire electrosurgical loop where the current excises the tissue and cauterises the area. Made of high-quality Tungsten wire and colour coded (to brighten your day and allow you to select your surgeons choice more easily), these Prima Medical LLetz loops offer superior shape and integrity. We offer a full range of shapes and sizes to suit most electrosurgical procedures.
The Prima Medical range of Colposcopy Loops and Balls includes a longer 135mm shaft, standard 110mm AND the new shorter 70mm shaft. The new shorter length electrodes are designed to be used with the Prima Medical SuperVac smoke evacuation pencil. SuperVac is designed to remove hazardous surgical smoke (plume) from the operating site and features a sliding finger-switch which allows your surgeon to place his hands anywhere from 8cm to 15cm from the cervix, but WITHOUT loosing any effective smoke extraction.
