Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) and Sonohysterography (HyCoSy) catheters
- Rigister® and Sliding Rigister® are sterile, single-use injection catheters that DO NOT use a uterine balloon to secure placement of the contrast media. The unique design of the soft silicone Cervical "cup" ensures complete closure of the cervical opening which prevents fluid leakage and are designed to provide optimal opacification of the uterus and fallopian tubes during Hysterosalingography (HSG) and Chromopertubation. The soft silicone "cup" can be secured in place with application of a small negative pressure created from a 10ml syringe, prior to injection of the contrast medium. The Sliding Rigister catheter can be inserted through the cervical canal to the appropriate depth to ensure optimal view.
- Siscone® catheter consists of a 18cm length, 2.1mm diameter injection catheter with a malleable, memory-shaped tip, with NO balloon, that ensures pain-reduced imaging. An anti-reflux tapered soft silicone cone is used to "seal" the cervix and prevent fluid leakage, ideal for Sonohysterography with saline or foam (HyCoSy or HyFoSy procedures). A movable stopper can also assist with placement of the silicone cone. The advantage of no distal balloon means optimal opacification and no chance of balloon rupture, which would result in replacement of a new device.
Hysterosalpingography (HSG) Catheters
Rigister®
This single-use, sterile device is designed to provide optimal opacification of the uterus and fallopian tubes.
The injection line with a two-way tap allows for the injection of contrast medium or methylene blue while the placement of the soft silicone cervical “cup” prevents leakage and reflux. The aspiration catheter with a clamp creates a vacuum at the cervical cup, which avoids the need for a balloon at the distal tip. The soft silicone cervical cup comes in four sizes to fit different cervix sizes, although the 25mm accounts for around 85% of Europeans, and ensures a consistent intracavitary pressure to opacify the fallopian tubes.
Sliding Rigister®
Sliding Register® is essentailly the same as the Rigister, however features a “sliding uterine catheter” that allows the placement of the contrast medium into the uterine cavity closer to the fundus. The “sliding” catheter has 1cm gradient markings (at the proximal end) to assist with accurate placement, to ensure optimal opacification of the uterus and fallopian tubes.
Sonohysterography
Siscone®
Siscone® is a soft 18cm injection catheter with a soft silicone cone designed for sonohysterography with either saline or foam. Siscone® features an anti-leak system and a translucent mobile taper that creates a seal on the cervix for better distension and visibility. Its malleable tip with memory shape aids in easy passage through the cervix, even in challenging cases. The device ensures a reduced pain procedure, prevents ultrasound interference, and facilitates HyCoSy or HyFoSy for checking fallopian tube permeability. It comes with a movable stopper for optimal positioning and better seal quality.
Rudigoz catheter
The Rudigoz catheter is designed for sonohysterography and contrast sonohysterography, featuring a tapered, flexible distal tip that extends 2 cm to prevent damage to the endometrial mucous membranes. It comes with a total length of 21.5 cm and a working length of 19 cm, and includes insertion markings at 3 and 4 cm for accurate placement. The catheter ensures safe and effective saline injection for imaging procedures, with 25 units per box.
