SuperVac Diathemy pencil with smoke evacuation and moving finger-switch
This is the smoke extraction monopolar diathermy pencil that surgeons and theatre staff have been waiting for. SuperVac is ergonomically designed, so that it is comfortable to hold, not bulky like many of the cheaper alternative smoke evacuation devices. SuperVac does NOT reduce the field of surgical vision caused by a shrouded tip and the smoke extraction remains at the tip of the pencil, throughout the procedure, even when using the fully extended length.
SuperVac is available in a variety of options that are designed with surgeons in mind. The PMS6300 is a SuperVac diathermy pencil with a non-stick teflon coated blade. The PMS6305 is a SuperVac idathermy pencil with an insulated or “shielded” nonstick teflon coated blade electrode, specifically designed for breast surgery or when operating in a cavity and view is restricted. With ALL SuperVac diathermy pencils, the electrode tip is clear and easy to see whilst operating, which prevents accidental tissue damage and injury to the patient. SuperVac has a unique and patented design, that allows the surgeon to move the finger-switch control on the pencil. This easy extension of the diathermy tip allows no loss of smoke evacuation suction (as the same tip is kept on for the entire surgery) OR loss of time, whilst changing over to an extension tip.
- Buttons float up and down the barrel offering telescopic function for deep cavity surgery using only one product.
- Length easily adjusts in seconds.
- 360 degree swivel on back of product and non kink tubing prevents hand fatigue
- Maximum suction output over 85 Litres per minute
SuperVac is fitted with a standard 22mm smoke evacuation connector and suction tubing that will fit ALL standard Smoke Evacuation systems including Bovie, Conmed, Styker and many others.
