Silimed Gluteal Implants

Since Silimed were established in 1978, they have had a long history of making an excellent range of silicone gluteal implants. Indeed, the market for Gluteal augmentation is very much a Brazilian led surgical procedure and Silimed have been at the for-front of development of Gluteal implants and have worked with many surgeons to develop the products to the high standards that they are today. Presented in three models and 21 sizes and supplies sterile.
The Gluteal implant is placed in the retro muscular (intra-muscular) pocket in the subgluteal cellular space, through a mid-line incision and division of the Gluteus medium and Gluteus Maximus muscles.
Gluteal Implants
The range consists of two Opaque surface, oval shaped implants, which has replaced the textured surface implants of previous design. The Opaque surface reduces the incidence of seroma formation, associated with the textured surface. The Oval Opaque Gluteal implants are available in LOW and HIGH projection.
An additional range of Round, smooth surface Gluteal implants is also available.
Templates are available with the shape of the base dimensions of the implants to aid with pre-planning of the procedure.
